“The question regarding the mute function was previously raised. However when looking at the user manual available for download, there is no instruction on how to mute. Would a representative from GE please comment on this? Thank you.”

Hi! Thanks for taking the time to reach out. Sorry for any confusion. This model doesn't have a sound control to turn it off or on. We will ask that the Best Buy product page, as well as ours, be updated to reflect this. Hope this helps! -Michael@GEA
