A:AnswerModel JES1072SHSS is designed for countertop use, and we cannot recommend installing it in a tight or enclosed space. Any area you install the microwave would need to have adequate air clearance on each side (3"), the top (3") and the rear (1"), or the unit may not function properly. They do this to help you make any necessary adjustments to the timing for a microwave that is higher or lower in cooking wattage. The difference in cooking time when going from a 1000 watt to a 700 watt microwave is usually measured in seconds not minutes. Start with the lower time and add time as needed.

A:AnswerThis microwave is a countertop one. It requires space above it for ventilation as well as space on each side. Also, due to the size, you would have to have a lot of space between the bottom of the microwave & the countertop.
Due to owning this model & reading the instructions, I do not recommend mounting. It would be best to purchase one that is made for mounting.
