A:AnswerHi there! Thank you so much for choosing us for your home. The user manual can be found online here: https://files.bbystatic.com/ItQf0uQaEGVZc%2FfEFHLsxA%3D%3D/Owners%2BManual, or via our GEA website. We're happy to have you as part of our GE Appliances family! -Gina@GEA
A:AnswerFrom page 3 of the GE's manual if you bothered to check.
"Recommended clearances: 3 inches on each
side, 3 inches on the top, 1 inch in the rear and no
obstructions on the bottom."
I would not. You're short by 33% on the sides and GE publishes these requirements for a reason. Besides ignition risks in a wood cabinet, it would void the warranty as misapplied. FYI, the infrared element for the air fry is in the top and you didn't provide the clearance distance for that. Whether "a little" or "a lot", heat rises so I make that a hard NO!
A:AnswerConvection and air fry cook modes produce a lot of heat and this this microwave needs a lot of ventilation unlike normal ones. But it is a small microwave so it will technically fit if you have the depth.
A:AnswerThe manual says once a minute until you open door or press cancel.
We have found this reminder to be much quieter and less obnoxious than our last convection microwave - so much so that we noticed it and had discussed it prior to seeing your question.
A:AnswerThank you for asking this great question! The JES1109RRSS countertop microwave is rated as “countertop-only”; therefore, we cannot recommend using a trim kit with this model. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Kind regards – Matthew@GEA
A:AnswerThanks for you interest in this wonderful microwave. The interior of this unit is 9.49 inches in height. We’re happy to help with any additional questions you may have. -Gina@GEA
A:AnswerAlot of the time if you search for the make and model of the appliance you have with the tag "user manuel" or "instructions booklet" then google will pull up the pdf file from the companies website or a couple of third party sites who have compiled other manuels.
A:AnswerThere's a paper manual came with the microwave. It runs microwave function if you don't select other functions directly, and should be always doing convection mode.
A:AnswerHi - Thanks for reaching out about this wonderful microwave, this is a really good question. During air fry cooking, heating elements are used to rapidly raise the temperature of the air inside the oven. A fan circulates the heated air throughout the oven, over and around food, producing foods with a crispier exterior than traditional oven cooking. When using the convection feature, hot air circulates though the microwave with a fan for baking performance. Thanks for asking and for considering GE Appliances! -Mikayla@GEA
