A:AnswerHello, thank you for your question. We require a 120 volt individual, properly grounded branch circuit with a 3 prong grounding type receptacle, protected by a 15 or 20 amp circuit breaker or time-delay fuse for this microwave. We hope this helps! Please feel free to reach out with any further questions. -Chris@GEA
A:AnswerThe depth from front to the wall is 17 1/2 inches. The cable has "bendy" cord end at the entrance to the oven cabinet so it does no stick out with a hard black paddle over the cord like previous models.

A:AnswerThere is no ENERGY STAR label for residential ovens, ranges, or microwave ovens at this time. However, there are ENERGY STAR labeled commercial ovens. Over 60 product categories have an ENERGY STAR label. Review the list of ENERGY STAR specifications in development.

A:AnswerHi Dabmaster, thank you for reaching out to us and for your patience. We truly appreciate you choosing a GE Appliances microwave for your home and are very sorry to hear of the recent issues you are having with electronic digital display. We can imagine that this would be a frustrating experience and apologize for the inconvenience this has caused for you. If the display is not lighting up, we would first recommend that you press the Pause/Off button to clear it in the case that a power failure may have occurred. If the oven will not come on, unplug your microwave and plug it back in and make sure that the plug is fully inserted into wall receptacle. If these suggestions do not resolve the issue, service may be needed to properly diagnose the unit. You can schedule an appointment with GE Factory Service by calling 1-800-432-2737 Monday – Friday: 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. ET, Saturday – Sunday: 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. ET, or schedule online at any time. We hope that this helps! -Eliza@GEA
A:Answermine runs smoothly, however there was a lot of packaging tape along the rim of the door and the opening face of the oven. I would make sure that all of the clear tape has been removed and that there are no bits of styrofoam stuck to the ring insert (and the tiny wheels) under the clear glass dish or the center prong inside the bottom of the oven as well.
A:AnswerIt doesn't come with a stove mount. If you wanted it mounted above a stove, you could go on line and purchase one. (Google: Microwave Stove Mount. They come in different sizes)
A:AnswerHello,
Thanks for asking! We appreciate your interest in GE Appliances, and would be more than happy to help with this microwave. We found that this is a countertop model without built-in capability, therefore it can not be mounted. If you are looking for a microwave than can be mounted, we suggest looking at models with built-in capability or over-the-range styles. You can find out the type of microwave by looking under the specifications on the product page.
We hope this information helps. If there are any more questions or concerns, please reach out to us through our website or social media.
Take care!
-Sylvia@GEA
A:AnswerHi Marsh! We're sorry that there is not a Use and Care manual available online. We see how this can be frustrating. It's recommended to have clearances of 3 inches on each side, 3 inches on the top, and 1 inch in the rear. We hope this helps! Emily@GEA
A:AnswerIt gives 3 loud beeps when it’s done, and then one beep each minute after until you open the door. I don’t think there’s a way to turn off the sound.
A:AnswerHello,
Thank you for reaching out to us at GE Appliances. We are happy to hear of your interest in this amazing microwave. This is a great question and we are happy to help. This microwave does have a popcorn feature that can be accessed by pressing the popcorn button on the control panel. For more information on how to use this feature view page 9 of the Use and Care Manual. All microwaves have a window in the door that has a mesh screen inside of it. This screen helps keep the microwaves inside the cavity, and is a necessary part of the microwave. You may find that the screen makes it difficult to see your food as it is cooking. Although it is difficult to see detail, the window should allow you to see if there are any problems while cooking, like arcing, burning, boilovers, etc. If you need to check on your food, opening the door will pause the microwave. We hope this information helps, feel free to reach out again with any other questions you may have. Have a great day!-Avery@GEA
