A:AnswerHello. We appreciate your interest in a trim kit for this model – we know creating a built-in look for your microwave can be important. Unfortunately, model JES1145SHSS was designed specifically to be a countertop microwave; it is not able to be converted to a built-in model, and does not have a trim kit. We apologize for any inconvenience that may cause. We do have several other microwaves that are built-in capable, however. If you search your dealer website or our GE website with the term ‘built-in microwave’, you can see the options that are available to be converted to built-in using a trim kit. We hope this helps to clarify the matter, and we’re happy to assist if you have any other concerns or questions. Best wishes! -Sarah@GEA
A:AnswerHello and thank you for asking. This model is only designed for countertop installation. There is not optional hanging kit available to hang this microwave under a cabinet. Happy Holidays! Geoff@GEA

A:AnswerHi - Thank you for your interest in a new GE microwave. Our recommendation is to have 3" air clearance on each side and at the top and 1" air clearance in the rear. Using these specifications, the air conditioner has been tested and approved for reliability and safety. It's your decision as to how you ultimately install the unit. All our best! Vikki@GEA
