• A:Answer Hi Bob - When replacing an over-the-range microwave, the mounting bracket included with the new microwave should be used since the mounting bracket is specific to each model. The new screws, bolts, and exhaust adapter should also be used. All 30" over-the-range microwaves are approximately the same width, and are designed to fit into a 30" wide cabinet opening. Each microwave comes with the mounting hardware (mounting bracket, screws, exhaust adapter), top and rear templates, and installation instructions needed to make installation a simple process. • A:Answer Hi Alan - The microwave does not require outside venting. It can be easily converted to recirculating (non-vent). Recirculating Charcoal Filter JX81L is included. When converted to recirculating, the air will be recirculated through the disposable charcoal filter that helps remove smoke and odors. • A:Answer Unfortunately, I cannot answer that, but I can tell you that this is the 3rd microwave we have had in the past 12 or so years and every one had a different hole pattern to attach it to the wall. Not an insurmountable problem. But extra work and annoying. I would check directly with GE for an answer to your question.
