QuestionI noticed that the microwave is said to have a non stick interior. Does that mean it has some type of coating that is not safe for pet birds?

- Answer NathanE must think he is clever. He must not realize that even cooking with a pan that has a non stick coating can be dangerous if you have bird in your home. GE’s website has more information about the chemicals that are used in their products. Hope that helps!

QuestionI noticed that this model has 2 fan speeds but it says the fan automatically turns on and off. So when the fan turns on, it can turn on in low speed or high speed depending on how hot the stovetop is?

- Answer The answer from GE answers is incorrect. I just installed this today and the mounting holes from the cabinet above are different. The left one is at least 3 inches different compared to the JVM3160DF3WW that you would have. The mounting bracket did still work for me though.

All 30" over-the-range microwaves are designed to fit in the same space. For features, they are very similar. Model JVM3160RFSS will have slightly more wattage and a 1" larger turntable. - Answer U need to measure the available space dimensions such as length, height, and depth. The GE microwave I have is like this: Length : 30 inches Height : 15.5 inches Depth : 15 inches Match the space and then choose the model accordingly.

Each microwave comes with the mounting hardware (mounting bracket, screws, exhaust adapter), top and rear templates, and installation instructions needed to make installation a simple process. The mounting bracket included with the new microwave should be used since the mounting bracket is specific to each model.
