Q: QuestionMy microwave is running but not heating. Has anyone faced this issue? What is the fix?

• A:Answer I scheduled a call with GE paying $109 just to have the service person take a look. And get this, he said it will cost $531 for the repair! It costs more than the new product. Lesson: Dont buy GE and definitely dont schedule a service call with them!

Q: QuestionDo you make a microwave range hood, slate in color, that will fit in a 30" width opening, with the door open 90 degrees? I have a refrigerator side panel on the left side of the opening.

• A:Answer Hello- Thanks so much for your question. We aren't exactly sure what you are asking in regards to the refrigerator being on the left side of the opening. However, this Over-the-Range microwave is Slate and will fit in a 30" width space. There shouldn't be any issues with the microwave door being open 90 degrees because your refrigerator shouldn't be right next to the microwave. • A:Answer According to the installation instructions for this model, it can be vented into the room. The instructions refer to it also as "RECIRCULATING (Non-Vented Ductless)". Look at the manual to find out how to do this.

Please note however, that you will need to use the mounting kit that comes with the model. This is because the kit is made specifically for that model. Q: QuestionPicture of Microwave shows a bit lighter from actual color out of box. The Slate Grey is dark. Is there a way to light up the menu buttons that I am not seeing? Display buttons are VERY hard to read. Panel is black and letters are dark.

All 30" over-the-range microwaves are approximately the same width, and are designed to fit into a 30" wide cabinet opening. Therefore, any of our 30" over-the-range models will work as a replacement for your existing 30" over-the-range model PVM1870SMS. However, when replacing an over-the-range microwave, the mounting bracket included with the new microwave should be used since the mounting bracket is specific to each model. Q: QuestionOrder from BestBuy and paid installed 01/2017. It's dead/no power 7/25/2018. Rarely used, the plastic is still on on touch panel. Will cost $300 to fix it. Never buy GE appliance again.

With this said, we believe this would be a great replacement, but if you want to use the same mounting bracket we suggest purchasing the same microwave.
