Hi Willie, thanks for reaching out! We're sorry to hear about this, we know that this must be frustrating for you. If the microwave starts as soon as the door is closed, the microwave isn't really starting; the fan is coming on in anticipation of the unit starting. Try shutting the door firmly three times to avoid the fan sound in future use. We hope that this helps! All the best. -Michael
