• A:Answer I had the same issue. The display on my HB microwave was so bright it lit up the room! I tried to find a display adjustment, but it was nonexistent. So, I took a small piece of painters' tape and simply covered that panel. I can see what is says but it no longer blinds me by the light!

• A:Answer Hi Susan- The microwave is shipped from the factory to vent outdoors out the top (vertically), but can also be vented out the rear (horizontally) or recirculating (non-vent indoors). Recirculating Charcoal Filter JX81J is included for recirculating vent option. • A:Answer Hi Rick- We certainly appreciate your loyalty! All 30" over-the-range microwaves are approximately the same width, and are designed to fit into a 30" wide cabinet opening. Each microwave comes with the mounting hardware (mounting bracket, screws, exhaust adapter), top and rear templates, and installation instructions needed to make installation a simple process. This makes choosing a replacement microwave easy. NOTE: When replacing an over-the-range microwave, the mounting bracket included with the new microwave should be used since the mounting bracket is specific to each model. The new screws, bolts, and exhaust adapter should also be used. Q: QuestionI have a new JVM6172SK5SS microwave. The vent fan always come on immediately when in use, and is HUGELY noisy. The cooktop is not in use, and there is no other source of heat or steam. How can I disable the fan from always automatically starting?

Over-the-Range Sensor Microwave Oven Model #: JVM6175DKWW. All 30" over-the-range microwaves are approximately the same width, and are designed to fit into a 30" wide cabinet opening. Q: QuestionCan Any one speculate as to why GE(?) did not put a backlite on the key pad? Even with proper lighting it is hard to see those numbers etc on a dark background, Very difficult to operate in late evening,early morning and at night!!!

Q: QuestionThe recommended microwave cut-out size is 16 1/2” by 30”. Is the back mounting plate/bracket height shorter than the 16 5/16” oven dimensions and would a cutout size of 15 5/8” by 30” allow the back mounting plate to fit flush against the wall?
