Hello- Thanks so much for your question. We aren't exactly sure what you are asking in regards to the refrigerator being on the left side of the opening. However, this Over-the-Range microwave is Slate and will fit in a 30" width space. There shouldn't be any issues with the microwave door being open 90 degrees because your refrigerator shouldn't be right next to the microwave.
