Hello, thank you for reaching out about this microwave. We appreciate your comments about the design of the microwave. Changing the interior bulb would be considered modification and we do not recommend changes or redesign to our appliances by the consumer on a new product. Each brand of our products is designed, tested and manufactured to specific specifications. Additionally, the interior bulb is not consumer replaceable. -Chris
