- Answer Hi Max - We certainly appreciate your loyalty! Some microwaves had the marketing name XL1800 printed on the control panel which indicated the cavity size (1.8 cubic feet- XL1800: JVM1840, JVM1841, JVM1842, JVM1850, JVM1851, JVM1860, JVM1861, JVM1870, JVM1871). All GE 30" over-the-range microwaves are approximately the same width, and are designed to fit into a 30" wide cabinet opening. Therefore, any of our 30" over-the-range models will work as a replacement for your existing 30" over-the-range XL 1800 model. Comparable models are GE Profile™ 2.1 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Sensor Microwave Oven Model #:PVM9215SKSS and GE® 1.9 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Sensor Microwave Oven Model #: JVM7195SKSS. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. Sue

- Answer Hello Donnajoe - We appreciate your interest in the over-the-range microwave JVM7195SKSS and we are happy to help! This model comes from the factory set for outside venting, however, it has a non-vented installation option; it can be converted to recirculating venting. QuestionHow do I change the power level on GE overthe range microwave Model #JvM7195skss

- Answer First press “cook time” and enter how many minutes and seconds you’d like to cook. Then press “power level” and press 1 for 10% power and so on up to 9 for 90% power. It will display “PL1” do 10% for instance. Once you see that just press the Start/Pause button.

- Answer The light hangs only about 1/2” lower than the rest of the microwave, so for us, it is not an issue. See attached photos.

Product Dimensions: 29 7/8"W x 16 1/2"H x 15"D). JVM1750SMSS: 29 7/8"W x 16 13/32"H x 15 1/4"D. All 30" over-the-range microwaves are approximately the same width, and are designed to fit into a 30" wide cabinet opening. Each microwave comes with the mounting hardware (mounting bracket, screws, exhaust adapter), top and rear templates, and installation instructions needed to make installation a simple process. QuestionIf the charcoal filter is not replaced when dirty,will that shut down the micro wave. Everything works, fan, lights etc. but turntable does not turn and micro does not function.

Over-the-Range Sensor Microwave Oven JVM7195SKSS is the current replacement for model JVM7195SF1SS. All 30" over-the-range microwaves are approximately the same width, and are designed to fit into a 30" wide cabinet opening. Therefore, any of our 30" over-the-range models will work as a replacement for an existing 30" over-the-range model. When replacing an over-the-range microwave, the mounting bracket included with the new microwave should be used since the mounting bracket is specific to each model. QuestionI just installed this microwave (really like it so far) but I noticed at night that the display lights lights up my entire kitchen. Is there a way to dim the light setting on the display screen? Will it eventually die down some?

- Answer Hi, Thanks for asking! We appreciate you choosing GE Appliances and we'd like to help. We found that there is not a way to dim the display lighting. However, you can turn the display On/Off. This can be done by pressing and holding the Display On/Off button for about 3 seconds. Also, Model JVM7195SKSS is the same microwave except factory-assembled for outside exhaust. The GE over-the-range models are all designed for adaptation for the following three types of ventilation: 1. Outside Exhaust (Vertical – Delivered from factory in vertical position.
