“I just installed this microwave (really like it so far) but I noticed at night that the display lights lights up my entire kitchen. Is there a way to dim the light setting on the display screen? Will it eventually die down some?”

Hi, Thanks for asking! We appreciate you choosing GE Appliances and we'd like to help. We found that there is not a way to dim the display lighting. However, you can turn the display On/Off. This can be done by pressing and holding the Display On/Off button for about 3 seconds. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine has that extra bright light also. After installation, I searched for a way to dim it. Apparently there are only two choices: have the bright light on or off. If anyone finds a way to simply dim the light, please post the solution.
