A: Since I cannot find the settings for this function, I would be led to believe it is not available on this model. Also, Samsung loses a star here for lack of helpful customer service. Chatted with their ‘A.I’ for too long getting absolutely nowhere (it kept returning to microwave turning on by itself. Nowhere near an acceptable answer to the question “Is it possible to turn off the tones heard when pushing buttons on the microwave model ME16A4021AS?

After you have entered the desired cooking time, press START if you want to cook at 100% power. Do the following if you want to cook at a lower power: --Use the numbered buttons to enter the desired cooking time. --Press the COOK POWER button. --Use the numbered buttons to enter the desired cooking power (10% to 90%). For example, press 3 to cook at 30% power. --Press START.

Love It
I wanted just the basic microwave and that's what I ordered. I had a Samsung in there for the old one. A thunder lightning storm Zapped mine this summer and created the need for the new one. The new one fit like a glove right in the same footprint where the old one was and in fact was about 3 in shorter top to bottom which was nice to have the room back above my range. It is very easy to operate and again I just got the basics which I am extremely happy with.
