A: Hi Monica - Thanks for choosing GE! Model JNM7196SKSSis factory-assembled for recirculating but can be converted to vent outside. Also, Model JVM7195SKSS is the same microwave except factory-assembled for outside exhaust. The GE over-the-range models are all designed for adaptation for the following three types of ventilation: 1. Outside Exhaust (Vertical – Delivered from factory in vertical position. A: Hi Bristol! Thanks for reaching out! All 30" over-the-range microwaves are approximately the same width, and are designed to fit into a 30" wide cabinet opening. Therefore, any of our 30" over-the-range models will work as a replacement for an existing 30" over-the-range model. This makes choosing a replacement microwave easy! - NOTE: When replacing an over-the-range microwave, the mounting bracket included with the new microwave should be used since the mounting bracket is specific to each model. The new screws, bolts, and exhaust adapter should also be used. - With that being said, the new model that you've got your eye on here will make for a wonderful replacement! Q: Will this model direct replacement of GE JVM7195DF1WW With Recirculating exhaust?
A: Yes! more to the point though is that it an updated model that appears to have a slightly smaller power rating. maybe 100 watts or so. Everything else is excellent. The fan speed now has 4 levels of power versus 3 previously. The locations of the push button contacts to begin microwaving are somewhat modified but that does not in anyway affect the functionality. The size was extremely important to us and it was an identical match. Bottom line the price was lower than what we had paid 8 years ago and it’s a perfect match. I don’t think that you will go wrong purchasing this item - and the Best Buy sales personnel were very helpful as were the delivery gentlemen. Good luck on your purchase.

My new Ge microwave
I love my new microwave over the range much bigger and nicer than counter top microwave I threw in the trash

Great Microwave
I love the fact that you can turn the turntable off. Sometimes you have a large item that won't turn. The fan works well as does the lighting. The microwave is much quieter than my old one and looks terrific over the stove. The best part is that I used Best Buy's team to remove the old microwave and install the new one. They were very efficient and cleaned up after they finished.

New Microwave
I love the look and style of the microwave. It is easy to operate and I like that it cues you to complete a function. I miss and wish it had an option for warming rice. (Which was offered on my previous GE Profile )
