“Why can I not get this microwave to pop a simple bag of microwave popcorn? It’s the same brand I’ve used for years, and in this microwave, it barely pops and is unevenly cooked. Is there something I am missing? I have never had an issue like this.”

Hello and thank you for reaching out about your microwave. We are sorry to hear about the issue you have been having with your popcorn. When using the Popcorn automatic feature, the package should be between 2 and 3.5 ounces. If the package is not in this range, please follow the instructions on the packaging. If you find that the brand of popcorn you use under pops or overcooks consistently, you can add or subtract 20-30 seconds to the automatic popping time.
