- Answer The cooktop light is at the front edge of the bottom of the microwave. For a helpful illustration, see page 18 of the Owner’s Manual, which can be viewed at the bottom of the Features tab on the product page of the Best Buy website. The light bulb is a 120-volt, 50-watt (max) halogen bulb. A replacement bulb is part number WB02X35488 and can be purchased on our GE Appliances Parts website or by calling our parts team at 1-877-959-8688 M-F 9AM-7PM EST. Lauren@GEAppliances

- Answer Yes, all 30" over-the-range microwaves are approximately the same width and are designed to fit into a 30" wide cabinet opening. Therefore, any of our 30" over-the-range models will work as a replacement for an existing 30" over-the-range model. However, we do recommend that you measure your space and ensure that it meets all requirements for this model. The installation requirements can be viewed in the “Mounting Space” section on page 6 of the Installation Instructions (which can be viewed at the bottom of the Features tab on the product page of the Best Buy website). QuestionHi, Is there a rating for the quietness or loudness of the venting fan? The fan on my previous over the range microwave was too loud, and I wonder if I can get an indication of whether this one will be equally as loud or quieter. Thank you for any info.

- Answer This model will make a great replacement for your current model. However, we do not recommend utilizing old mounting brackets for your new over-the-range microwave. To ensure proper installation, we recommend you use the new mounting bracket and installation hardware packaged with the new microwave. This model can be vented externally, and the venting location could match your existing model or differ slightly. Lauren@GEAppliances

- Answer This model is a comparable replacement model. It offers 1.9 u. ft. capacity as does your existing model.. The product dimensions are fractionally different in the height and depth. - Answer When replacing an Over-the-Range microwave, the mounting bracket included with the new microwave should be used since the mounting bracket is specific to each model. The new screws, bolts and exhaust adapter should also be used. -Don@GEAppliances

QuestionIt looks like this has a handle on it. Is there one with a push button instead? My GE microwave handle broke off at the top and we glued it. Now the bottom part broke in pieces so I don't like handles anymore.
