Hello there, thanks for reaching out to us and congratulations on your new compactor! We're sorry your trash compactor isn't level. We know this can be worrisome and we're happy to help. You can see how to adjust the retaining bracket beginning on page 6 of the installation instructions. If you need help finding this, you can go to our site and plug your model number in.
