• The filter can be cleaned rather than replaced. We recommend checking and cleaning the filter at least every 30 days, and more details about cleaning are available on page 8 of the use and care manual. If you'd like to view the manual, you can do so on our GE Appliances website when you look up the model number and go to the product page.
