• If you have a dedicated space for the fridge, it is best to locate your outlet 4' up from the floor level and in the center of the fridge space. that should work for this fridge and others in the future.

• Hi Scott - On French-door refrigerators, the power cord is 61". Facing the front of the unit, the cord is on right 8" up and 2" over to the left. Thanks for choosing GE and welcome to the family. Enjoy! Sue
