The five adjustable glass shelves in this 33-inch GE side-by-side refrigerator help you store and organize food items.
Q: Picture shows ice in the bottom freezer section. Is there ice stored there or just in the door?
A: Hi ERFas - Thanks for viewing GE Model GYE18JEMDS! This model does not have an icemaker in the freezer drawer. You can store extra ice in the freezer, if desired. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. Sue
Q: How do you adjust the temperature?
A: Hi DrDrBigDog - Thanks for choosing GE! Some Bottom Freezer refrigerators have temperature controls located exterior of the fresh food compartment. The temperature display is off during normal operation unless one of the temperature adjustment pads are pressed (Freezer/Fridge). The temperature adjustment only goes one direction. When you keep pressing the Fridge or Freezer pad, the temperature setting will go up until it reaches the maximum limit and then starts over at the lowest limit. Q: What is the depth of the shelves within the fridge. Thanks.
A: The lowest shelf which has the two food bins measures 13 1/2". The adjustable shelves measure 11". I hope this information helps.
Q: i HAVE ROOM FOR A FRIDEGE THAT IS 32 1/2 WIDE. WILL THIS FIT IN MY SPACE?
A: Our space is 33", it just fit perfectly.

Q: What is the depth without the door?
A: The depth of the refrigerator compartment without the doors is 23.5 inches. Remember that cords and water lines must fit between the refrigerator and the wall behind it. In our kitchen that means that the front of the refrigerator compartment without the doors can be a little behind the counter top, which is 26.25 inches deep. Although the doors with their hinges and handles extend beyond the counter top, we don't think that detracts from the attractiveness of the refrigerator. We are pleased with it and with the service of Best Buy in selling and installing it. Here are our measurements: wall to refrigerator compartment +/- 2.75"|refrigerator compartment 23.5"|door hinges .5"|door at outward curve 3"|handles 2.5."
A: Thank you for asking your question. It is not a known issue but will require service call to properly diagnose. It is not unusual to see a few drops of water dripping from the dispenser after having dispensed water. This is caused by pressure on the water line and changes in temperature causing some condensation to form and drip. If water continues to drip long after the glass has been removed, service may be necessary. For service, please schedule an appointment with GE Appliances Factory Service. Hope tis helps. Geoff@GEA
