Hi - Thank you for your interest in this beautiful GE Appliances refrigerator. We do not offer a smaller ice bucket for use with this model. Any attempt to use a smaller bucket could cause issues with the icemaker not detecting the proper level of ice resulting in low production or an overflowing bin. The shelves in the fresh food compartment are glass. We do hope you choose this great model for your home. All our best! Vikki@GEA
