“I have microwave model JEB1860SM1SS which is built in and needs to be replaced. Is there a model that I can replace this with that the existing trim kit will fit. What do you recommend.”

Hello Donald - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and we are happy to help you. The JEB1860SM1SS trim kit JX2030SMSS or JX2027SMSS required a cabinet cutout of 16-3/4" high x 25-1/2" wide. The good news is that the trim kit to the PEB7227SL requires the same cabinet cutout. You will, however, need to use the new trim kit, JX7227SL or JX7230SL, because the trim kits have changed over the years. We hope this helps! Thanks for checking with us!

We used the old trim kit because we were very careful to remove it without hurting it. It worked for us! My old one was a jeb model but I am nit sure what the whole model number was.
