A:AnswerHi Jeff- This appliance should be connected to an individual, properly-grounded branch
circuit with 120/240V single-phase 60 Hz electrical service and should be protected by 30-amp time-delay fuses or circuit breakers. Purchase a UL rated 120/240V, 30A power cord with 3 or 4 prongs ( Identify the plug type as per the house receptacle before purchasing line cord). See page 8 of the Installation Instructions: http://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=31-16781-1.pdf - Thanks for choosing GE! SUE@GEA
A:AnswerHello, thanks for asking this excellent question! Be sure to clean the lint filter before each use by sliding out the grid that covers the filter and running your fingers across the filter. You may find that a waxy buildup can form on the lint filter from using dryer-added fabric softener sheets. To remove this buildup, wash the lint screen in warm, soapy water, then dry thoroughly and replace. (Do not operate the dryer without the lint filter and grid in place.) We also recommend having a qualified technician vacuum the lint from the dryer once a year. We hope this helps! Best, Kelsey@GEA
