Hi RJC9108 - Thanks for considering GE! A cooling fan may turn on and off automatically to cool internal components. You will hear a low hum. It is normal to hear the temperature control click on and off during baking, broiling and self-cleaning cycles. I DONT WHAT YOU TALKING ABOUT, I DONT HEAR ANY NOISE ON MINE BESIDE THE FLAME WHEN IS ON BUT YOU HAVE TO HAVE VERY GOOD EARS TO HEAR THE FLAME OR MAYBE IS WHEN THEY BAKE AND OVER FLOW AND LAND ON THE BOTTON WHERE IS HOT. THIS OVEN IS VERY GOOD IM RE[PLACED FOR THE OLD ONE, HOPE THIS HELP YOU
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is a fan that runs most of the time the oven is on, and sometimes for a while even after the oven is turned off. Since my old oven made no sound at all, this slight "noise" is noticeable, but not too bad. I have gotten used to it.
