My machine keeps shutting off. I open the door, hit CYCLE and nothing happens. We have checked the wire connections and all is good, why does this keep happening? I have only been able to use a few times because it is so sporadic that it works. null

If you  are certain there is power, make sure the control LOCK feature has not been activated by mistake:

To LOCK/UNLOCK the dishwasher control, depending on the model, press and hold the Cycle
pad, or the Dry/Dry Boost and Steam pads simultaneously for 3 seconds. The Lock Controls
light will turn on to indicate the control is locked and will turn off to indicate the control is unlocked.

If it is not a LOCK issue, disconnect power to the dishwasher for 60 seconds in an effort to reset the dishwasher.  If this doe not help, please arrange service at the GE Appliances website by selecting Owner Support followed by Schedule Service.
