Hello doogie - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and I am happy to help you. The height of the dispenser may vary due to the recessed part of the ice and water dispenser. The approximate dispenser height on side-by-side refrigerators is 7-1/2". It can accommodate many mugs, glassware, baby bottles and some sport and water bottles. I hope this helps!
