A:AnswerHi Debbie - Thanks for reaching out! We truly appreciate your interest in this side-by-side refrigerator and are happy to answer this for you. This refrigerator has one water dispenser located on the front of the left door that delivers chilled filtered water as well as cubed and crushed ice. The dispenser features a door alarm, LED dispenser light, water filter indicator light, and a child lock. This unit also features a factory installed Artica icemaker on the interior of the left hand door that puts ice right within your reach. We hope that this helps! -Eliza@GEA
A:AnswerHello, Jenn. Thank you for reaching out about your excellent refrigerator. It is not unusual on a two-door refrigerator for one door to pop open when the other door is being closed. The refrigerator and freezer sections are connected by air channels to allow air to pass between them. Slamming a door shut forces air from one cavity into the other, often pushing the second door open. Place heavier items in the freezer door compartments to provide some ballast. Also, make sure the unit is properly level and the gaskets are clear of debris. Keep in touch! - JB

A:AnswerHi Frank - The icemaker will produce seven cubes per cycle— approximately 100–130 cubes in a 24-hour period, depending on freezer temperature, number of door openings and other use conditions. See page 14 of the Use and Care Manual- Automatic Icemaker: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-60646-6.PDF - The icemaker must be 15 degrees to produce ice. Normal freezer temperature is around zero degrees F.
Ice production can be further increased by decreasing the freezer temperature to -2F. See REFRIGERATOR - SLOW ICE PRODUCTION: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17763 - Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com - Sue
A:AnswerYes, but not with the out-of-box settings... There is a "Door Open" button you can press (the LED light will now be lit green) to activate this warning beep you are asking about. I just tried it. The LED flashes then after about 2 minutes it starts beeping about 2x per second. To shut it up? Just close the open door. Hmm. Thanks to you I learned something new! This should prove useful for the days when I overstuff my freezer and it pops open if something heavy falls against the door.

A:AnswerHi - We are truly sorry to hear you're having an issue with your refrigerator and can understand your concern given the holiday weekend ahead. There are a number of internal components that could fail which would result in the refrigerator not cooling properly. If you have not already done so, try unplugging the refrigerator for 2-3 minutes to reset the electronics. It may take several hours before you notice a difference in the temperatures. In the meantime, go ahead and schedule an appointment to have the unit checked by service. If you find it begins cooling properly once power has been restored, you can always cancel the service appointment. Kind Regards, Vikki@GEA
