A:Answer Hi irish- This is Sue at GE Appliances. Thanks for your purchase! We can certainly understand your concern with the frost/moisture and glad to help. Refrigerators work to remove moisture that is naturally present in the air inside of the unit. If there is too much moisture (condensation) present for the refrigerator to remove, the moisture will build up on the interior of the refrigerator. Moisture (in the form of frost or ice) can also build up in the freezer compartment. We suggest to view the following link for tips: http://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=19186- Also, as food freezes, some of the moisture in the food is drawn to its surface and freezes as well. This can cause frost to appear inside packages or containers. Opening the freezer can cause warmer, moist air to enter the freezer. This may also become frost on packages as the air is cooled. These are normal occurrences and is not a problem. If you need further assistance, we encourage you to contact GE Consumer Service at 1-800-432-2737 or conveniently schedule an appointment online: http://www.geappliances.com/service_and_support/service/ - We hope this is helpful.
