• No, our air conditioners are not designed to be installed sideways. Doing so could cause irreparable damage. It can be installed in a window that is a minimum of 17" wide. In this case, you would not use the EZ Mount installation kit included with the unit and you may need to purchase additional materials to seal any open space on each side and at the top of the unit.

• You need an AC designed for a narrow and tall window. A standard AC will not function when turned on its side, due to how the compressor works.
