Hi there, Steve - Great question! Yes, this wall oven's upper oven is True European convection. This style of convection has a fan to circulate air in the oven cavity and a heating element around the fan. The heating element provides an additional heat source, allowing further performance improvements particularly for multi-rack baking. The fan only spins in one direction. We hope this helps.
