Although dryer has not been delivered yet, after much researching due to what seems like conflicting info, I asked my own question about volt/plug. The answer I received was this is a regular 120 volt dryer (not 220/240) with plug/cord already attached (for regular wall outlet). It is misleading as the image of the 'plugs' they make you buy for hookup are not 120. Best Buy said if plug is not needed because one is already attached, it can be returned for refund.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi, thanks for asking this great question! Most electric dryer power cords are sold separately to ensure that they comply with all state and local wiring codes, which vary locally. Since it's not known what dryer cord will be needed, the local dealer usually provides the power cord. Basically, whether a 3-prong or 4-prong cord is needed depends on what type of outlet you have in your home. More information about electrical connection details can be found on page 2 of the installation instructions. We hope this helps! Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. Be well, Kelsey@GEA
