A:AnswerHello there,
While we are unable to provide the information specifically for the dryer, we can provide you the annual estimated energy cost of the entire appliance. When used with an electric water heater, the annual cost is around $23, while using a natural gas water heater, the cost is around $15. Hope this helps. Let us know if you have more questions. A:AnswerI use the pods for convenience and storage, but I don’t know why you couldn’t use liquid detergent. I had the pods when I recently moved, but if I had the liquid detergent, I wouldn’t have hesitated to use that.
A:AnswerHi there, and thanks for your interest in this model! This particular combination model cannot be installed ventless; we regret any inconvenience that may cause. The model does allow for either side or bottom venting. We do have some ventless dryer options, including GFT14ESSMWW, if you’d like to review whether that model may fit your needs. We hope this is helpful, and are always glad to assist if you have other questions or concerns. Best wishes! -Sarah@GEA

A:AnswerHi there, and thanks for this great question! We certainly understand your concern over whether the unit will work in your space, and we’re glad to advise this model would be ideal for an apartment installation as long as you work within the guidelines listed in the Installation Instructions. If you’d like to view those, you can do so on our GE Appliances website when you look up the model number and go to the product page; the ‘Owner Support’ option under the picture of the appliance will take you to the document. Our Quick Specs document is also available in that space, and has information on electrical requirements and dimensions. We hope this information is helpful, and are glad to assist here or over social media if you have any other questions or concerns. Wishing you all the best! -Sarah@GEA
A:AnswerHello. We appreciate you reaching out, though we hate to hear the dryer isn’t working properly; we know any issue with the appliance would be concerning, and we’re glad to advise. If the dryer isn’t working at all, you may want to check the plug as well as the fuse and/or circuit breaker to ensure enough power is reaching the unit (electric dryers often use two fuses/breakers, so if only one is working that may cause issues). We do have Troubleshooting Tips starting on page 21 of the manual as well; if you’d like to view those, the manual is available on our GE Appliances website when you look up the model number and go to the product page. If you aren’t able to resolve the issue, our Service Department is available at 1-800-432-2737, and a technician would be glad to examine the unit. We hope this issue with the dryer is solved soon, so you can enjoy the full combo unit again. If you have any other concerns or questions, we are happy to offer assistance any time – we wish you all the best! -Sarah@GEA
A:AnswerHello- Thanks so much for checking with us. We are happy to help! This model uses approximately 15 gallons on washer and 6 gallons on rinse on the Heavy (Max) load size. The washer will adapt within the cycle and from load to load, so the actual water will vary. If you have any questions in the future, please let us know. We are always happy to help! Joyce@GEA

A:AnswerWe pop the front off occasionally when the unit is completely off and retrieve anything that has been eaten and check to make sure all belts and other parts are still attached properly. It’s quick and easy.
A:AnswerGreetings,
