Hey there, and thanks for this great question! This cooktop does not come automatically with a downdraft exhaust; we regret any inconvenience this may cause. However, if you wish to use a downdraft system, it is designed to be compatible with installation of one of our GE Profile Telescopic Downdraft Systems. Models UVD6301DPBB and UVD6301SPSS are approved for use with 30” gas sealed-burner cooktops. We would recommend consulting both the cooktop and downdraft installation instructions before installing, as the cooktop gas/electric supply may need to be re-routed to install a downdraft.
