A:AnswerHello Bumblebee,
Thank you so much for reaching out. We're happy to assist! The 4-3/4" is the total height of the appliance. When installing, allow 7/16" minimum vertical clearance from the cooktop bottom (or 3-11/16" minimum depth from the countertop)to any combustible surfaces, such as a cabinet drawer. We recommend checking the installation instructions for additional details. Best wishes. Mike@GEA

A:AnswerChoosing the burner you wish to use may depend on the item you're preparing or the size of the pot or pan you need to use. The front left and right rear burners are the higher BTU burners. These burners are particularly useful when cooking or heating large amounts of liquid for soup or pasta. We do have the distance between the burners available to share with you. The distance between the centerpoint of front and rear burners on each side is approx. 9" and the distance between the centerpoint of the two front burners and between the two rear burners is approx. 11.9".
A:AnswerDowndraft vents can be installed with most gas and electric cooktops; however, they cannot be used with range top cooktops or ranges. Make sure to review all the Installation Instructions for cut-out and installation information on your specific downdraft and cooktop that you choose.
A:AnswerThis lovely cooktop comes from the factory ready to be connected to natural gas. We do include a LP (Liquid Propane) conversion kit. We do recommend the conversion be performed by a qualified gas installer or a licensed plumber.
A:AnswerIf I am remembering correctly the correct burner orifices are attached, as well as a warning to have it done by a licensed gas plumber (the conversion)
