“What is the outside dimension of the flange that sits atop of the counter ? My openning is right at/ beyond cut out dim, unless there is a surround to sit the cook top onto, to prevent messes/ spills from escaping counter top.”

Hi Rick - The cooktop is approximately 30" wide x 21" deep. Cutout Dimensions are 28-1/2"W x 19-5/8"D.
