A:AnswerHi there! We appreciate your question and recent purchase. We're sorry that your range is not turning off whenever you press Cancel/Off. We see how this can be frustrating. This control cancels ALL oven operations except the clock and timer. If it is not doing this, we recommend scheduling a service appointment. You can schedule an appointment by calling 1-800-432-2737, Mon-Fri 7 am – 10 pm ET, Sat-Sun 8 am – 6 pm ET. Stay safe! Emily@GEA

A:AnswerHi BirdLover! Thank you for your question! Preheating is very important when baking at temperatures above 275 degrees or when baking items with short cooking times, such as cakes, cookies, biscuits and other pastries. Although preheating is not needed for meats, poultry, casseroles, when roasting or when cooking complete meals, it is recommended. During Preheat, the Bake and Broil elements come on to quickly heat the oven. - Some ranges and wall ovens have Preheat indicator lights or have a Preheat signal to let you know when to place the food in oven. There are two types of Preheat: -Preheat signals when the set temperature is reached: This is found most often on models with a preheat indicator light, but also on some models with a beep. Preheat takes approximately 10-20 minutes depending on model. -Preheat signals when the temperature is hot enough to add food: Found on newer models with an audible Preheat signal. Preheat will signal at about 5-7 minutes. The oven is not at the set temperature; however, the oven is hot enough to add most items that require a pre-heated oven. -For those models that do not have a Preheat indicator light, wait approximately 10-20 minutes to allow oven to preheat. Time will vary depending on your model. We hope that this helps! Stay safe. -Michael

A:AnswerHi EBbs - Thanks for considering GE Model JTS3000SNSS! There would be no disadvantage or performance issues when stacking JTS3000SNSS with GE Profile™ 30 in. Single Wall Oven with Advantium® Technology PSB9120SFSS (120V) or GE Profile™ 30 in. Single Wall Oven with Advantium® Technology PSB9240SFSS (240V). This is a popular installation. The Advantium® may be installed directly into a 30" wide oven cabinet with standard installation. A:AnswerWe bought this Oven 0n 9/29, it has not yet been installed by Best Buy and after two "systemic errors" regarding appointments and more, we were finally informed last night on 11/19 that they in fact are unable to install and we would have to arrange ourselves. Meanwhile they have been paid and the price we paid has dropped by $200. This is not the way for Best Buy to maintain a customer. No help at all from them!!
