“My cabinet opening is 16 1/2 height and 28 1/2 wide. Which trim is my best choice. HELP please.”

Hi, Thanks for asking! We appreciate you choosing GE Appliances and we'd be happy to help. Most of our Trim Kits are made for 27" and 30" wide openings. This Trim Kit is for 30" Wide cabinet openings and you may need to adjust yours. We apologize for any inconveniences. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The minimum height for cabinet opening is 16.75” for either the 27” or 30” microwave units. The minimum width for the cabinet opening is 25.5” for either unit. The depth of the cabinet needs to either 19.5” or 22” - depending on the location of the electrical outlet (respectively inside vs outside of the cabinet. It appears as though you need to modify (increase) your cabinet height opening to accommodate either a 27” or 30” oven unit. If this can be done and given the width of your cabinet opening it sounds as though the 30” trim kit would be appropriate. ****Contact GE customer service (support) to reconfirm.
