My Dryer gets very hot.  Apparently,  something is very wrong with yours. Call for service.

Thank you for the q&a we are purchasing a new set now and I am trying to make a decision. I guess we will just have to order to confirm whether the heat in the dryer is just an issue with one person vs the whole lot of dryers.

These dryers are junk! Best Buy will not support you. Call The GE services. The heating elements are not good in any of them.
