Is the door swing reversible? null

Nope, hinge is on the left looking at the washer. As with almost all front loaders you need to leave it open or use the washer every day to prevent mildew. The latch has two positions so it can be left open a tiny bit. We also added a fan on the back vent to help keep it dry. The newer models claim to have those drying features built-in.

Hi Kate - Thanks for viewing GE Model GFW450SSMWW! On this model, the door swing is not reversible because of the electronics involved with the door lock mechanism. The hinge is on the left side of the door and opens to the left only; the door swing is approximately 150-160 degrees. The exception is our new UltraFresh Vent System with Odor Block models. These models do have reversible doors: GFW850SSNWW,GFW650SSNWW, GFW550SSNWW.
