Hi Joye - Thanks for choosing GE! You do need to press the "Add Steam" button if you want to add steam to the following cycles: Sanitize, Bulky Items, Active Wear, Towels/Sheets, Normal, Whites. It does not add steam automatically and is not available on all cycles. If you selected Add Steam and want to cancel, simply press Add Steam.
