Yes it does. It is not as large as my last washer, but it does a much better job and does not constantly go unbalanced.

As long as the comforter fits below the balance ring and isn't stuffed in the tub tightly. The comforter's thickness and density should be taken into account. Hope all is well! Mike@GEA
