“What is the minimum space requirement above this stove to an over-the-stove microwave with extractor fan? The manual says it is 30" to the bottom of CABINETS but our microwave instructions state that the minimum space below it to a stovetop is only 13.5".”

There would need to be 30” of clearance between the burners and the bottom of an unprotected wood or metal cabinet. If you’re installing a compatible microwave over the range, we recommend following the instructions for that model and ensuring those space requirements are being met.
