A:AnswerHey there, and thanks for taking the time to reach out to us. We sincerely hate to hear you've had an issue, especially after only a couple months. We know this would be concerning and would like to help. If the water is actually leaking from the unit, there are multiple troubleshooting steps you can try. Full troubleshooting information is available in the manual, but here are a few possible fixes: You may want to check that there is no damage to the door gasket, that it is properly seated and not torn at all – if it is, leaking may be possible. You can also check the back left of the washer – if that area is wet, there may be an issue with oversudsing and you should use less detergent. If you have already checked the hoses they may not be the issue, but hose connections should be tight at the washer and faucets, and the end of the drain hose should be correctly inserted and secured. If the above troubleshooting does not help resolve the concern, our service department can be reached at 1-800-432-2737. They would be glad to help, and we're also happy to assist if you have other concerns or questions. Wishing you all the best! -Sarah@GEA
A:AnswerHello Michael. Thank you for reaching out to us with your question about this washer and I think you meant delicate cycle. When selecting a delicates cycle then it automatically uses a low spin speed. You can change that to medium if you choose so that it spins faster and removes more moisture. Under the delicates cycle this would be normal if low spin speed is used. Hope this helps and welcome to our family. Geoff@GEA
A:AnswerHi there, and thanks for reaching out to us about this front load washer! If you are referring to running the UltraFresh Vent option after the wash is complete, during that cycle the door will lock and the washer will intermittently spin at low speeds for up to 8 hours. This cycle is meant to stop excess moisture and prevent odors from developing, and may work best as an overnight cleaning cycle. We hope this information helps, and are happy to assist with any other concerns. We wish you all the best! -Sarah@GEA
A:AnswerHi there, thank you for taking the time to reach out to this. The washer should be placed on a solid and level floor. The unit should drain without issue this way, so you will not need to install it with a downward tilt. We hope that's the information you needed and we're wishing you the best. - Guy@GEA
A:AnswerHi - Thank you for reaching out to us. This is a great question. The 7" riser we offer will increase the overall height of the washer by 7" making it easier to access your wash load. The riser is not a storage drawer. The washer itself weighs approximately 246 lbs and the riser weighs 30. Together, they weigh approximately 276 lbs. Moving this unit will require a minimum of 2 people to do so safely. This washer offers many great features and we do hope you choose GE for your home. All our best! Vikki@GEA

A:AnswerHello, thank you for your question. This washer will fit in a universal washer tray/pan. The bottom, without the curve at the front, measures approximately 24.25"D x 28"W. The distance between the legs may actually provide you with a better idea about whether the washer will fit your existing pan. The center-point of the feet are approximately 26" apart from left to right, and approximately 23" from the front to the back. We hope this helps! Please feel free to reach out with any further questions or concerns you may have. -Chris@GEA
A:AnswerHi there - thanks for reaching out. We're sorry that you're experiencing an issue with the water in your front load washer and we want to help. If water is not entering the washer, you'll see a Consumer Help Indicator message that reads "H20 SUPPLY." If this is the case, we suggest checking your house water supply. It's possible that one or both water supply valves have not been turned on after installation or coming back from vacation. Additionally, we recommend running the washer through a complete cycle and checking for wet/damp clothes at the end to make sure it is working properly. If the issue persists, please reach out to use via social media so that we can easily dialogue with you and resolve the problem. We hope this is helpful. Be well, Kelsey@GEA

A:AnswerHello,
Thank you for reaching out. A washer is not limited in practical terms by the pounds or weight of clothes it can wash. It is limited by the volume of clothes that can be put in the machine. Ex. A down comforter can fill the entire machine but weigh very little, while blue jeans are heavy but is typically a smaller load. You can find load capacity examples in the user manual. Stay safe! Mike@GEA
A:AnswerHi - thanks for reaching out! In order to make this stackable, you need to order a stacking kit for dryer-over-washer. The part number for the kit you need is #GFA28KITN. For your measurements, keep in mind that stacked, the height will be 79-1/2” (with the leveling legs retracted). We hope this helps! All the best, Kelsey@GEA
