Does this washer take pods or liquid only? null

Hi Photoman - Model #: GFW650SPNSN has a detergent dispenser drawer that dispenses liquid or powder detergents, bleach and fabric softener. Laundry detergent packets (pods) should only be added directly to the wash basket following the manufacturer’s directions. Also, SmartDispense™ Technology saves time and makes laundry effortless. The dispenser holds up to 32 loads of liquid detergent and automatically dispenses the right amount each time. Thanks for considering GE! Sue

There is not a designated spot for pods. I just throw them ib with the clothes.
