“Will the water keep running if I open the lid while it is filling? That is how I like to pretreat stains in my old GE. Also do I have the option on this model to add more water or is it only auto fill.”

Hello Jan - Thank you for the excellent question. With the lid up, the washer will not fill. The unit uses auto-fill which senses the size of the load and adds water accordingly. To add water, press the Deep Fill button to add 3 gallons of water or hold the button to achieve the maximum fill level. Using the Stain Removal guide will also add water, soak, and agitate the load according to the type of stain selected. - JB
