A:AnswerGreetings,
We'll be more than happy to answer your question! This oven does have a window that you can see your food cooking through. It even has an oven light to help see your food cooking without having to open the oven. Thanks for taking the time to reach out. Stay well! Mike@GEA
A:AnswerGreetings,
We comply with all federal, state and international requirements regarding hazardous substances and meet those standards. We also comply with federal and state chemical labeling laws, like California Proposition 65. The presence of a Proposition 65 warning does not necessarily mean the product is unsafe or poses a health risk. Over 800 chemicals are on this list, including wood dust, nickel (found in stainless steel), nicotine, and alcohol. Additionally, even inaccessible parts can cause the warning. We can understand your concern; however, we do not provide detailed information about what causes the Prop 65 warning to apply. If documentation is required please write to our Consumer Relations Headquarters. GE Appliances Consumer Relations Headquarters

A:AnswerHey there, and thanks for reaching out to us about this concern. We regret any trouble you’ve had with cleaning the griddle – we know that must have caused inconvenience, and we’d like to assist. We recommend cleaning the cast-iron griddle with a stiff brush and hot water, then rinse with hot water and dry thoroughly. We don’t recommend using soap, and you should avoid using any harsh detergent as that will remove the seasoning. After you’ve rinsed the griddle, you should preseason it by applying a light coating of cooking oil to the surface; wipe off any excess oil with a paper towel. We also recommend storing the griddle in a cool, dry place. Additional details regarding the cleaning and maintenance of the griddle are listed on page 25 of the manual, in the Care and Cleaning section. You can view that manual on our GE website by looking up the model number, if you wish. We hope this information is helpful, and you’re able to clean the griddle to your satisfaction. If you have any other concerns or inquiries, we are happy to offer assistance any time. Best wishes! -Sarah@GEA

A:AnswerGreat question! Your broiler is inside the oven, turn on broiler setting and press start. The bottom drawer is for storage for your cooking pans. Remember don’t over stuff because it could or will jam and become hard to open.
A:AnswerThe oven does have a large window. It's just hard to see in the photo. It's very reflective. If you look carefully at the photo you can see it.
A:AnswerHi there, we appreciate you reaching out to us. If you're referring to the griddle, then yes it is cast iron. If you mean something else, we suggest reaching out to us on social media for more assistance. We hope that helps! - Guy@GEA
