Hi jeffb, good question! Based on page 21 of this unit's installation instructions, we're seeing the following about drain requirements: The standpipe height above the floor should be: Minimum height: 24” (61 cm), Maximum height: 96” (244 cm). We hope this helps! Best wishes. -Michael@GEA

No. Our drain was just to the right of our dryer and the hose barely made it to the drain. I'm guessing if you found a longer hose it may be possible but the antimicrobial hose it comes with wouldn't be long enough.
