To be honest, I think that would be frustratingly tight. From the front of the dryer to the back of the dryer vent (90º vent supplied by Best Buy) is right about 35" without any wiggle room at all. My wall depth is just under 43", and even that feels a bit tight with the swinging doors, etc. I hope this helps. Good luck!
